How did you come up with your business name? Coming from a print industry background, it made sense. I come up with the IDEA and the client likes the design they then use it for print, which is INK
What made you want to begin a WAH business and how did you get started? I knew that one day we would begin a family, rather than waste my skills and kill my passion it seemed like a good idea. I have been operation for 3 years and work when my daughter is sleeping.
What motivates you to keep your business going? My skill and determination. I create ideas and want to implement them into a design that best reflects my work.
Do you have a current best-selling product or service? Idea + Ink is the innovative supplier for classic stationery designed exclusively for parents who want something very unique. My designs are sure to impress, they are perfect for new mums wanting to share the excitement of introducing their new baby to family and friends or simply wanting a specific invitation design for a kids party!
How do you advertise your business and which methods have proven more successful? Facebook and babyology have been my best advertising
How do you juggle your family and your WAH business? Any tips for other WAHP’s? Great support from my husband, family and friends. There is someone always willing to help me out.
And finally, what advice would you give to anyone wanting to start a WAH business? One life, one chance. Anything is possible if you set your mind to it.
