I get asked this a lot and I never really put much thought into it apart from saying “I run a support network for work at home parents” so I’ve decided to take the time to write down exactly what I do for Support a WAHP and I wanted to share it with you. It’s much more than just a Facebook page so here’s a list of what goes into running this show…
• Maintain a high traffic website and continually add new information like articles, interviews, resources, discounts, etc
• Add new advertisers to the website and promote their businesses via Facebook/Twitter/etc
• Invoice advertisers and make sure payments are received by their due dates
• Regularly look out for valuable resources for WAHP’s and add them to our website
• Monitor a Facebook page with a huge following and give shoutouts to businesses with the hopes of increasing their fanbase/website traffic
• Regularly look out for new WAH businesses to promote and assist
• Add new businesses to the ‘In the Spotlight‘ Competition List
• Run and promote the weekly competition on the website
• Maintain the Business Directory and keep it free of SPAM and non-WAH businesses
• Maintain the Top 100 list and make sure all participants have set up the process correctly and are using the site legitimately
• Respond to 20-30+ emails/messages a day on various topics
• Discuss new options with other businesses in regard to the direction that Support a WAHP can take in the future
• Promote Support a WAHP through other avenues like noticeboards, markets, online, etc
… and I’m sure there’s more as well but I just can’t think of it at the moment. Running Support a WAHP sure keeps me busy.
Oh and did I mention I’m a mother of two children with another on the way? I love being a WAHP. 
Wow Amanda, you are amazing to be doing all this!! Plus, you also have another business you run, am I right? I don’t know how you have enough time in a day to do all that you do, lol

Kyra, I do have another business but I’m afraid I had to put it on hold for a while. I had no idea how well Support a WAHP would take off and I guess something had to give!
