One of the biggest issues we hear about from our work at home community is “isolation.” That’s hard to believe when you consider that home based businesses make up 66 percent of the US SME business population and 68 percent of the Australian SME population.
At Support a WAHP we make connecting with other people who work at home easy! Here’s how:
- Join our forum to ask questions, seek support, share your opinions and announce your latest deals and wins. Our forum is well-moderated by work at home dad Tim from Invitations to Impress (his wife’s business) and we regularly check in to look for new posts.
- Email us with your questions. If you have a specific question you’d rather not share on a forum, please just send us an email. We aim to get back to people within 48 hours (most of the time we manage it within 24 hours). No question is insignificant! Ask away!
- Join our 10,000+ strong community on Facebook. We have a thriving and active Facebook Page where work at home people have the opportunity to post about their businesses, participate in “workshop wednesdays” where we do a peer review of a WAHPer’s Facebook Page and Website, hold fan-only competitions (using 3rd party apps ofcourse) and where we announce all our latest blog posts, newsletters and updates.
- Join our member community. We introduced our membership program in September 2011 and already have a thriving and supportive international member community with members from the US, the UK and Australia. We have a member-only Facebook group and members are also get all our updates first, first option on all competitions, webinars, promotions, media opportunities etc. Members can also access free member-only resources in our business directory.
