Weekend Wrapup (May 6 to 12)

product finds this week at Support a work at home person

This week I was sooooo thankful to have the assistance of the wonderful Emma, Tracey, Lucie and Belinda on the page wall as I battled a nasty case of the flu. Aside from Emma, these women volunteer their time to support our community while also running their own business pages. So, if you see them posting or responding next week, be sure to give them a virtual pat on the back. Over to Emma…

After a wee break over Easter, I am getting back into the swing of things this week finalising the 2012 Mother’s Day catalogue. Our finals competition was neck and neck, right to the end. We had more than 6000 unique visitors to the website in a week and more than 1200 votes in the competition. Congratulations to Handmade by Beez who will feature on the front cover of the catalogue after securing more than 420 votes! I can’t wait to share the final catalogue with you.

Weekend Wrapup (March 18 to 24)

Welcome to the weekend wrapup! Have you checked out the latest entries for the Mother’s Day Photo Contest? This year’s entries are going to be so hard for the judges to choose from. While I’m on the subject of judging, I’ve decided to step down as a judge so that the process of picking a winner is truly impartial. So, one of our Support a WAHP bloggers and page admins Lucie Battaini from MultimediART has stepped up in my place.

Weekend Wrapup (March 11 to 17)

Judging by the number of retweets on Twitter, my blog post “Does the thought of shining scare you?” really struck a nerve with people this week. It even made it into a blog post on Small Biz Trends! If you struggle with the mumpreneur poverty mindset I encourage you to have a read and see if my story resonates with you. This week we also introduced the first of our new guest bloggers on Support a WAHP, Amanda Foy. Support a WAHP is a community and it seems only fitting to offer an opportunity for leaders within our solopreneur community to share their insights, tips and resources.
