Our Performance in 2011
- Average Unique Visits to the website per month: 20,939
- Average Unique Page Views per month: 54,377 (increased significantly in the last quarter)
- Average hits per month: 506,883
- Increased our Facebook Page fanbase from 7,000 to 10,000.
- Increased our subscriber base from 260 to 600 via our email list and website & RSS subscribers.
- Website sidebar advertisers enjoyed between 300 to 1000 click-throughs each to their websites over a 12 month period.
- Our Competitions were well supported with more than 1000 people voting in last year’s Top WAHP Awards and more than 500 voting in the Mother’s Day Catalogue Competition. On average, 30-50 people voted per In the Spotlight Competition. Some weeks saw more than 250 votes, depending how actively businesses promoted their entries.
- We also have approx. 75 financial members (membership program launched in September 2011) and more than 800 businesses listed on our directory.
- Some advertisers had more than 1000 click throughs from our targeted, niche market over a 12 month period.

Invoicing
Invoicing is done on a month-to-month basis (so from the first day to the last day of the calendar month). Once we receive your advertising request, we will email you an invoice at our earliest convenience. New advertisements will appear on the website the first day of the month in which their advertising term commences as long as we have received your logo/image and full payment of your invoice. An invoice will be issued via email when you request an advertising term. If you require a receipt, please advise. You can pay by paypal to book instantly and assure your spot is secured or you can pay by direct deposit upon receipt of your invoice.
Advertising Terms
3, 6, or 12 month advertising terms are available for website sidebar advertising/sponsorship. Business of the Month advertising/sponsorship is based on a one month term.
New Advertisers
New advertisers that are not current members are charged at the non-member rate. If you wish to take advantage of the member discount (20%), you will need to become a member before becoming an advertiser. Members are given first option on all newly available advertising spaces.
Available Spots
To give our advertisers the best coverage for their advertisement, we can only offer a limited amount of spaces on our website. We have 26 sidebar spots available and 1 Business of the Month Sponsor each month. We will advise when new spots become available.
Website Traffic
For an up-to-date report on our website traffic, please email us and we will send you a copy of the report, or review our statistics here. We aim to keep these up to date, however, if you are needing more recent statistics please just let us know.
Payment Options
We currently only accept direct deposit or Paypal. Both of these details will be on the invoice or you can use the Paypal buttons on the Options and Prices page.
Renewing Your Term
A reminder will be sent via email toward the end of the month if your term is due to expire and you will be given the option to renew or cancel. If you cancel, your advertising will cease as at the end of your term and your spot will be opened to a new advertiser. You are welcome to reapply for this spot. If all spots are currently booked, you can be placed on a waiting list.
