This competition to win an ‘In the Spotlight‘ interview (valued at $500) on our website is open to all home/internet based businesses that are fans of the Support a WAHP Facebook Page. This page explains how the competition works. Stage one of the competition is run on our Facebook Page via an app in compliance with Facebook Promotion Guidelines.
Simply enter your details in the form on our Facebook Page competition tab prior to 3pm, on the last day of the month for you chance to be 1 of 5 businesses randomly selected for the following month’s poll. Fans will then have the opportunity to vote in our website poll for who they want to see “In the Spotlight.” The winner will be announced on the Support a WAHP blog on February 29th, 2012 and notified by email.
Competition Rules
1. It is your responsibility to ensure the link to your business page or website is working. It is also your responsibility to provide us with a valid email address so that we can notify you if you win the poll. Businesses with broken links and invalid email addresses will be ineligible for the draw, so check carefully.
2. The poll will run for one month and you must make sure you have entered your business by 3pm AEST (QLD) on the last day of the month as the draw will take place that night and the businesses added to the poll by the following day.
3. Everyone can only vote once and you can vote for your own business. Tip: To boost your votes and let your fans and customers know about the poll, post the blog announcement on Facebook, Twitter, forums etc to let them know how to vote for you. Remember to link to http://supportawahp.com so people know where to go to vote for you.
4. Use of proxy sites to vote more than once is a violation of our conditions and isn’t very fair on those abiding by ALL the rules. Please play fair.
5. We will announce the winner and the next round of poll entrants in a a blog post which will also feed through to our Facebook page and twitter account. Winners will also be notified by email. Once you receive the interview questions, please complete the interview at your earliest convenience so it can be added to the website.
6. There may be occasions when we can’t close the competition on time, or cannot open a new competition (We’re busy WAHPs too!). If that happens we will announce this on our Facebook page if possible.
