Mother’s Day Catalogue Competition

In April 2011, Support a WAHP held it’s first ever Mother’s Day Catalogue Competition to celebrate achieving more than 8000 followers on Facebook. We gave WAHPs the opportunity to get noticed and engage with their social networks in an online Mother’s Day Catalogue, which was released a week before Mother’s Day.

Guest Judges

We are really fortunate to have an abundance of talented work at home people in our community and the two women we invited to join our judging panel were no exception.

Karen GuntonKaren Gunton from Build a Little Biz and Smile. Play. Love Photography

karen gunton is the builder of a little photography and design biz which she runs from home, called smile.play.love. she is passionate about helping other busy, talented mums kick ass with their little biz ideas and started build a little biz to do just that. oh, and she never uses capitals. it is her little way of questioning the rules and being a little bit badass in this world!

popeto portrait studioAmanda Taylor from Popeto Portrait Studio

Amanda’s motto in life and with her craft is that “NORMAL DOES NOT GET NOTICED”…she works with your brand, your current image and desired outcome to create the most incredible photographs to support your business.

She’s was a RAAF kid that is well travelled, and can get on with anyone and does.  Before settling into a life as a professional photographer Amanda was a leader in Customer Service with Grey Hound bus services.  After all that customer service and years of travelling and making new friends, Amanda’s most significant asset is that she will set you at ease with anything you are unsure of when it comes to the integrity of your product or service.

Amanda specialises in Natural light, a speciality which she developed during a two year photographic diploma.  So not only is our resident photographer talented, she’s also qualified and a very active member of AIPP the Australian Institute of Professional Photography.
